Since 2016, the Tip Jones® StartUP Scholarship has helped aspiring Black woman business #OwnHers take their entrepreneurial vision from concept to execution.
One (1) scholarship recipient will receive:
A $1,000 business grant
Three (3) months of one-on-one whole woman coaching by Founder/President, Tip Jones ($6,300 value)

Eligibility
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
Submit a 30-second video pitch of the business concept.
Must be a United States citizen
Currently operating her business, i.e. speaking engagements, products for sale, etc.
Operating without consistent branding
Applicants must guarantee to launch a scholarship program in her name within ninety days of completing The Tip Jones StartUP Scholarship® Program to help a woman entrepreneur in her industry
Reflect on the following and submit a 750-word essay in the form below:
Her Investment: the sweat equity and financial investments she has made in her business to date
Her Why: the urgency to "uplevel" her business and why she would be the ideal candidate for the scholarship
The Difference: how her brand is different from her competition and will make a difference in either her community, her industry, her family, or with her target audience
Her Spirit to Serve: her vision for the scholarship program she will launch next year
